Jean-a-ma-jig - Smooth stitches for thick fabrics

Sometimes the simplest tools are the most effective! This handy spacer sits under your presser foot to guide your needle over thick ridges caused by flat fell seams or bulky darts.  The Jean-a-ma-jig was designed to create even stitches while hemming jeans but actually can be used for all manner of sewing projects involving bulky fabric.  It's a great tool to have in your menswear sewing toolkit.  Keep it handy (in a pin dish, perhaps) so you remember to use it the next time you need to sew over a bulky seam!
