Vintage Pattern - Hollywood 489 Men's Robe
Sew with vintage menswear patterns to gain access to the huge range of styles, sizes, construction techniques, and drafting styles offered in past decades! Sewing with a vintage pattern is a fun glimpse in to a past era and a great way to sew menswear styles that are not currently offered by pattern companies.
Here is a little bit of info about this particular pattern:
Garment Description: A man's lounging or bath-robe. Raglan sleeves, notched collar, two large patch pockets and tie-belt.
Style Number: 489
Pattern Company: Hollywood
Size: Medium (38-40" Chest)
Seam Allowance Included: 1/2"
Condition: Good. Original pattern came precut with no printing on it and holes punched in it whose use are explained within the instructions. A very old style of printed pattern!
Please note: Vintage patterns have not been taken out of their envelopes by us so we can not guarantee that all pieces are intact. We try to handle the patterns as little as possible to ensure that the aged paper envelopes do not degrade.
Our vintage patterns have been offered to us by fellow sewists like you! They have variable prices to cover the shipping cost required to send the patterns to the Thread Theory studio. We have purchased some of these patterns but others have been given to us (we only paid for shipping) because the owner wanted to pass their collection on the to the rest of the menswear sewing community (thank you!). If you would like to de-stash your menswear patterns, email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we would happily discuss purchasing them from you.
