Wooden Pin Cushion - Mini

NOTE: This listing is for the last two mini pin cushions that we have in stock. Wray sadly passed away some time ago and we have kept a small selection of his remaining inventory on our shelves. A tiny pin cushion with a lathe turned wooden base and a velour cushion in red or purple.  The wooden base (measuring 2" (5 cm) in diameter) tapers elegantly.  The velour cushion comfortably seats your delicate pins.  It is filled with Vancouver Island sheep's fleece.  The lanolin naturally present in the fleece serves to protect pins from rusting.

In contrast to all-fabric pin cushions, pins and needles are prevented from slipping deep into the pin cushion due to the wooden base - they will always be easy to grab!

These velour and wood lathe turned pin cushions are truly one of a kind.  Each one is created by Vancouver Island woodworker, Wray Parsons and come with an etched signature by the artist.  They are created using sustainably harvested woods - some local and some purchased from ethical exotic sources.
